You ever heard of Batman and the monster men and Batman vs the mad monk? Also known as Dark Moon rising.

Are those two great Batman stories? Because I've saw many recommendations on those two books particularly for new readers on the DC database.

They're part of the early history of the character in the New Earth continuity.
