Banned from Hell or Heaven, Lobo can't die under normal circumstances and his spirit will wander around after his body is destroyed.

Exposed to effects of Omega Beams, bio-electric energy beams that can keep up with speedsters and obliterate planets, dispersing molecules within target's molecular structure and erasing them from existence. Alternatively, they can trap target within eternal cycle of target dying in grotesque and painful deaths infinitely.

However, beings like Superman and Doomsday have survived Omega Beams with the latter easily ignoring them completely, possibly due to being already stuck in a cycle of life and death.
