David Ayer really only had two standout screenplays; Training Day and Fury. His wheelhouse is war and urban crime stories. Give him The Haunted Tank or a vigilante like Wild Dog and you might get a decent result.

What if he had a character like Cat man or Cheshire? How would that be?

The reason I chose Gotham Sirens and Secret Six is because they were somewhat as grounded while have world saving stuff as his “Suicide Squad” movie

Secret Six is probably the closest of these I could see him doing as good. No chance for that with the Sirens.

The only good thing he has done is casting Harley Quinn (and it probably was not him), every other DC decision is terrible.

I was looking at his record and he seems to have made some decent stuff like Training Day, End of Watch and Dark Blue. I think he could make a half decent movie about the Unknown Soldier
