Yeah, I don’t recall it ever being explicitly named in his first run. It also wasn’t intended to be a supersoldier serum. It was an experimental that was intended to be a potent truth serum or such that had unexpected side effects. It nearly killed Slade initially but, after he recovered, tests showed he was now above normal human capabilities.
