Rebirth and the War of Light is what got me into comics. What Johns did for Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern mythos was quite exceptional.

What is the War of Light? I hear a lot that Geoff Johns’s Run on the green lantern is the prime of dc comics, however so far from the book, honestly, it’s just alright. Perhaps it gets better later and also I don’t know much about green lantern so it makes sense that I find it decent.

And what I'm referring to as decent is the main green lantern title issues 1-3. Overall this book is a 7/10.

War of light is essentially everything from Sinestro Corps War to Blackest Night. It’s the introduction of the other lantern corps’.

Ok, thanks, yeah I'm not there yet but I have heard about the Sinestro Corps war and the blackest night. I hear a lot about how magnificent the blackest night event is so I can't wait till I get to that point! :)

It’s all good stuff man. Read Green Lantern Corps too, it totally worth it, and quite honestly I think it’s just as good as Geoff Johns’ mainline Green Lantern book, it all works together as part of the same story.
