Also, I agree with @Arise Etrigan 's assesment. When even death itself can be reversed by the wave of a multiversal magic wand (some resurrections do involve some multiversal stuff), nothng the characters do really matters.

Let's face it, Clark Kent, Bruce Wayne and Diana Prince are immortal. Everyone else is fair game.
