When Johnny Quick was dropped from Adventure Comics, Flash had already been discontinued for 5 years. He was the only speedster published by DC at the time.

You literally can’t “prove” some of the claims you made while using the word “prove,” Fra. You can defend a thesis and support your arguments, but you can’t necessarily “prove” them in these instances.

I find this sort of thing really interesting, like how the JSA roster lines up with anthology features and office politics. But you're right, this has gotten pretty far off topic from Jackson/Caldur'ahm.

I’ve tried to unfollow this thread several times, but it doesn’t seem to stick. I’ll click Unfollow, and Fandom will still send me notifications about comments as if I didn’t click Unfollow. It does this sometimes (not always but more often lately), and it’s incredibly annoying.

DC is a successful company, that is a good thing but it means you can’t be one of their A tier characters if you never had an ongoing that lasted 4 milestones, 100 issues. The Flash and Green lantern have had a couple that lasted over 100 or 200 or close to it. Also, Catwoman, Nightwing, Robin and so many more secondary Batman characters have blown what Aquaman has done in recent decades out the water comic wise.

I like Aquaman and have read many of his comics but he is just not as big or important as some are tiering him as. If he is A tier than so are Nightwing, Catwoman, and Robin and Swamp Thing, and Superboy. I would say the only A tier Superhero’s are Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, and Green Lantern. Villains have a different system for being ranked so I won’t talk about them.

Geez what did I start with the Martian Manhunter C-tier comment? All I was really trying to say was that after Flash, Green Lantern(s), Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman came Martian Manhunter, Hawkgirl, Green Arrow and Black Canary in importance. If anything I was calling all other Leaguers second tier 😂. Really after that the ones I see most as deserving would be Black Lightning, Vixen, Fire, Ice, Red Tornado, Atom and Vibe. Really I just think they need to be making multiple Justice League teams again and write random heroes working alongside one another when necessary in general.

I would definitely enjoy multiple League branches again. For now, I’m having fun watching the Titans fill in the Leagues’ shoes, but I doubt we go another full year without an active JL roster.

I think he is a pretty solid character with great depth and should be included more in teams
