I'd take the scarab as the ring needs to be charged every 24hrs plus willpower to work I'd rather have the scarab it's always active and always with me plus tye armor could take over for me and fight if I couldn't don't remember the ring doing that.
Also if caught off guard anyone can take the ring off like superman in injustice and batman in justice league war
