The characters from MKvDC are not from the comics. They're completely original characters that only have superficial similarities to their comic book counterparts.

Also, the rage caused by Dark Kahn is magical in nature, which gives characters like Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Liu Kang a chance to fight Superman, Shazam and Wonder Woman evenly.

Yes I know that. But even with the rage powering up those DC Heroes they were still defeated by them. The MK Characters have superhuman attributes as well. Even if they are not normally powerful as them.

It wouldn't be the first time that the Superman from an adaptation is significantly weaker than the Superman from the comics, lest we forget that DCAU Superman could get easily punched around by villains that would get obliterated by comic book Superman in a matter of seconds.

The stories of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, etc are not linear stories. They're mythologies that can be interpreted in multiple, yet equally valid, ways. If you want to do something new with these characters, you might as well add something new or remove something old so you can stand out.

No offense, @Zrochdi016 , but the game already offered you an explanation. If you don't buy it, that's up to you.

If the merging did not happen at all during the game, it would’ve been different.

The merging kinda needs to happen, otherwise there would be no plot.

If the Kombat Rage had affected Superman then I would imagine he would defeat every character in the roster. @Leader Vladimir

Unfortunately, that's not what happened. Canonically speaking, the kombat rage prevented Superman from defeating everyone in the roster.

It is true about the fluctuation of the DC Characters powers, but it also affected the MK warriors as well. It can’t be just one side. That won’t make any sense. @Leader Vladimir
