Any positive things about DCEU?
Not for the whole decade. Like any CW show, it lost its flair after a few seasons. The writers room concept created bland and repetitive plots and the only character development was cheap romance. New characters were introduced and just as easily discarded, or expanded way beyond their original purpose because of popularity. Looking at you, Wellses.
Superman and his family must always be protected.
My mom thought Superman and Captain Boomerang were hot. That’s all I know she enjoys from the DCEU.
I love Man of Steel and it’s score, even though a like a more upbeat Superman. Ben Affleck was great as Batman (not as good as Bale or Pattinson, but still great). The costumes were comic-accurate.
I watched the CW shows to appreciate the shows just like leader Vladimir said, as much as I disliked the CW I rather not dance on its grave i know people love the cw.
The Way DCEU went out was just sad they went out with a whimper.
Well, I can at least appreciate the fact that DC is still trying to be competitive. Star Wars, on the other hand, has been stuck on TV since 2019.
Just be careful and don't wait for the public domain to screw up the characters. The DC Universe and its characters deserve to be protected. I don't want Superman to be screwed up in the same way that happened to Hercules, King Arthur and Dracula.
If the DCU is successful enough, maybe they could get congress to give an extension on the rights. Disney did it before.
That's another 11 years before we get that.
What do people not understand about the public domain? The public domain will NOT ruin Superman, Batman, etc. DC will still have a 96 year head start on everyone else. Its version of the characters will not go away. You fear a mean-spirited horror subversion of the character? Dude, we already have one. It hasn't ruined anything.
Anyway, I enjoy most DCEU movies. MoS, BvS, WW, ZSJL, Aquaman, Birds of Prey, Black Adam, I like all those.
