You are right, I always thought that was Barry (It's been over a decade since I saw an episode) and I never really payed attention to Flash since superspeed has never been interesting to me (not as bad as time travel though).
Oh well...
God I really wish they’d used Barry in that Universe. That single decision not to use him basically screwed over any chance of a proper DCAU Teen Titans.
@CmDC01 I'm glad we didn't get a DCAU Teen Titans because I love the TT show we got plus Young Justice. both are the GOAT!
With all due respect, @Neosaiyan7 , I don't understand how can you read a Flash comic book and come to the conclusion that Barry is a bad husband.
Yeah, I’ve read the full New 52 and Rebirth Flash run and never thought that.
It's hard to reread because everytime I do they have relationship troubles and it's annoying because it keeps happening no matter what era, I just believe more in Linda and Wally, he's a better husband, and recently Iris West admits it.
Just because Barry and Iris have relationship problems doesn't mean their relationship as a whole is bad.
This is the same problem creators face when making stories about Superman and Lois Lane. Should they be protrayed as the perfect couple (Superman and Lois) or should they have everyday problems (My Adventures with Superman) or maybe somewhere in the middle (DCEU)?
But if it keeps happening, it kind of reflect on the character, you need to sometimes let it go, it's also the same with his job, you just have to let it be, but if you keep doing it, it's get annoying and makes the character seem like he is not that special anymore.
You do know that drama needs to happen to keep audiences interested in the story, right? A story in which everybody gets along and faces no conflict whatsoever is boring.
Although I hate this plot point for being so long and I had no idea when Wally West got them back and how it went, but it was such good character development where wally west is dealing that he lost his family and finally got them back, but it was surprise he suddenly got them back for me, because I was waiting for that moment during as a non-flash fan. I like recent idea in the flash comics that family is not really speaking with each other, dealing with their own personal problems, I think it shows that the family is not happy anymore as they used to be. I just think they need to actually make a move with Barry Allen to have children, since they actual characters in the future, it might make it better. I like Barry Allen as a character, but it's his interactions with others as Barry Allen and not as the Flash himself is the problem for me.
