Gunn said that only two DCU TV shows will release a year. The reason Marvel’s had problems with TV shows is because they make three to four a year. As long as DC doesn’t go overboard with the amount of content, it should be fine.

No, the reason is that the shows are terrible. As long as the shows are good, let them make as many as they want.
@Blackbeard069 I wouldn't say any them are terrible. Even She-hulk (a show I personally found to be not really that funny or well-made) is just mediocre. Loki season two is pretty much the best show they made but people just aren't talking about it.
It’s because they’re making to much content for people to keep up and therefore lose interest. The DCU needs the shows to be spread out that way people have time to watch them.
Quality was bad so people lost interest, that's it. Look at One Piece, over a thousand chapters, comes out weekly and still sells millions, why? Because the quality does not drop, if anything, it increases.
Marvel thought that they could make mediocre content and people would still be interested... they were wrong. The last decent thing they made was Moon Knight.
At least quality is constant in the MCU, unlike DC where their movies drop and rise in quality dramatically. They could benefit from higher quality standards but that's easier said than done.
Anyway have you watched Loki season two? It's much better than the first season which I already liked.
I’d argue the frequency of releases and the quality are connected. It’s hard to make good show when you’re churning them out every few months.
Marvel and DC TV/movie quality are both consistently shit. At least in the majority of their individual universes. Frequency is irrelevant as long as they care about quality.
It depends. As long as they don’t fall into the same “Quantity over Quality” trap that the MCU has fallen into.
It's bad for Marvel, it's bad for Star Wars, and it will be bad for DC too.
