Superman is too overpowered. So what’s the point in a super team if you have one man that could hear the whole world, lift entire skyscrapers, breathe in outer space and underwater, fly faster than sound, near invincible and heat blast you into oblivion. That means there is no point in characters such as Aqua Man and Flash. I like when the turn his powers down by a lot. Like him barely being able to carry a plane or be able to be beaten down without kyrptonite it just makes the Justice League more interesting and meaningful, which is one reason why I prefer marvel.

Thor isn’t really ever considered overpowered. Writers prevented this in Ragnarok when they allowed Hulk to beat him and when he wasn’t strong enough to defeat Hela so he had to have Surtur do it. He also couldn’t beat Ironman and Captain America in 2012 in the Forrest scene.Theres never an example in cinematic history that shows Thor being overpowered.

Yea lol. I don’t like reading comics they get too confusing especially when the stories go on for 100 years and they reset the timeline a thousand times and switch universes and stuff.
Because the JL’s villains are usually ten times more powerful than Superman. Marvel doesn’t need superheroes as powerful as DC ones because their villains are not as powerful.

Kindly speaking, I think his incredible range of superpowers and strength balances out because of the effect a small piece of kryptonite can have on him and the fact that it's seemingly pretty easy to come by in the DC Universe.
Realistically speaking, you're onto absolutely nothing with this and as Etty pointed out you're standing on ironic ground as a fan of characters like Thor and Hulk.

I grew up with the DCAU version of Superman so I never really saw him as overpowered. Beyond kryptonite, the dude’s susceptible to Darkseid and Poison Ivy’s brainwashing, magic powers, the Black Mercy, a red sun. His desire to help others has been used against him on numerous occasions. Talia and Ra’s Al Ghul were able to use this against him to zap him of his strength in STAS.
The one truly overpowered D.C. character is Doctor Manhattan. He's INCOMPARABLY more over-powered than Superman is, having been the one who merged the New Earth, Vertigo, and WildStorm universes together as one, also giving birth to the new multiverse.

Phantom Stranger, Doctor Manhattan, Martian Manhunter, and Spectre make him look kinda weak by comparison. It also depends on the writer. Superman has become more versatile in the last few decades, but he comes up against some stiff competition.
@Dr. Nice I dunno about Martian Manhunter making Superman look weak. He's vulnerable to fire, which Kryptonians can, in fact, withstand. Plus, nothing's been said about how the Martian Manhunter's can allow him to potentially shatter the boundaries of the space-time continuum, like how it has on Supes's.
