Don’t feel like typing it all out so I’m just gonna post a tier list of it I did a while back
I’d probably lower DCEU to A and COIE to C if I redid this but otherwise I still agree with this.
I like how Pattinson’s was comic accurate in a grounded way. Like it took the comic inspiration and made it real.
I like the idea of using an abandoned subway station. Like, a planned extension North of the river that was scrapped during the War or something because resources, and then forgotten.
Affleck's just looks like a basement with rock decor.
Bale's cav made a point of him discovering it, there being some infrastructure there. But Gotham is too far North to be part of a secret section of the Underground Railroad. Which wasn't underground. And the changes made to it would take much too long for just one person.
I get the vibe Burton was going for but it's too unrealistic. Install some stairs and railings, dude.
^ that’s why the one from the first Burton movie better. Actually has stairs.
Gotta put adam west's at one for the giant nuclear reactor alone
7. Batfleck. Batcave needs to be a lot more dramatic and grim-looking than just a basement with rock decorations. Batmobile entrance seems very impractical, too.
6. The Flash. I'm in no hurry to watch this film based on reviews, but judging from the photo, it's basically Arkham Origins Batcave.
5. Westcave. Impressive amount of detail, but doesn't really feel like Batman to me, even the campy one.
4. Clooney. Haven't seen Batman & Robin in forever, but it has a good style.
3. Burton. The ridiculously thin platforms with narrow pathways seem super impractical, but it has Batman feel to it.
2. Baleman. A small lake/puddle/pool is a nice touch.
1. Pattinson. Looks like a mansion hall leading to freaking city/facility, love it.
Have they ever mentioned what Bruce does to deal with the bats' shit? Alfred must spend a lot of time cleaning up that cave, having a bunch of bats live in there is just not a good idea.
I like Bale's simplistic look.
I think I’m gonna go with the version from the Burtonverse duology.
What do you think?
