Any bad storylines in comics they gave to the characters?.
Any bad storylines in comics they gave to the characters?.
Knightfall bane would never be able to do that to batman
Just kidding btw love knightfall
Ah well, most of these where about characters that I know very little about, and I'm in general a big fan of Morrisson's writing, so it makes sense that I enjoyed it without finding that many flaws
Also just found out about Karl Kyle, damn the 1950s were such a weirdly charming time for comic books. Not quite Silver Age yet but more of a crazier escalation of the Golden Age, what a fun time
Also, given Trinity's been mentioned, has it ever been outright referenced in other stories set in New Earth as canon? From what I got reading it, I felt that Wagner went for a more timeless tale that is more it's own thing, maybe riffing on a thing or two from New Earth's canon than make a story that it set in stone in continuity as the definitive canon first meeting. Especially given Wagner as a creator, I hardly feel he's envision it as something that takes place entirely in New Earth in the first place
So I wonder if perhaps this could be a Killing Joke case. The original intent was to make something that took place out of continuity, only for writers later down the road to try and make it part of New Earth canon
Green Lanterns
Justice League (Rebirth era)
Superheavy
I remember Green Lanterns being pretty damn good (especially dug the Phantom Lantern and First Green Lanterns arcs). What'd you dislike about it?
All Star Batman and Robin.
Let's say that those two story arcs were pretty good, but the rest is damn boring. I couldn't even finish the run.
Ann Nocenti’s Kid Eternity ongoing series was so confusing and weird that I couldn’t finish the small 15 issue series.
The last arc from the legion, boring villains, the thing with brainiac 5 makes no sense with the rest of the reboot legions stories, and it wraps up none of the remaining plot threads from the rest of the series
What do you think?
