What’s your favorite Tom King DC comic? I haven’t read any so far, but I’m planning on reading Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow soon.

Mine is Omega Men (2015), but it’s a little dense. Lots to analyze, though, in terms of both script and visual choices (including the panel format). But it’s still a good story if you’d prefer to “turn your brain off” while reading and simply enjoy what you engage with at the surface level.
Superman: Up in the Sky.
@Leader Vladimir It’s on my list too. I’m waiting for my library to get it.
Human Target!!
Though his Mister Miracle run is up there too.
And probably about 80-90% of his Batman run, but that was pretty long so a few things I wasn’t as into shouldn’t ruin it all.
And, while I’m not sure I always like his take on Wonder Woman dialogue, I’m liking the rest of his current Wonder Woman run so far.
Haven’t read his Onega Men run yet, but thanks for reminding me I should read it. And I really should go reread his Strange Adventures. I kinda read it really spread out and don’t have a good feel for how it fit together.
But yes, I liked Woman of Tomorrow a lot (once I got over one alarming thing he did early that I interpreted one way and didn’t understand why it wasn’t a bigger deal, but realize later that I hadn’t interpreted it correctly and it made more sense…)
Batman Rebirth.
Be warned that Tom King is very polarizing - you’ll prolly love him or hate him; I think that few here are neutral on the subject of TK. He writes very well thought-out unique stories that don’t always translate well to a regular monthly - thought that said, one of my favorite TK issues of all time is still “The Brave and the Mold” in https://dc.fandom.com/wiki/Batman_Vol_3_23.
I really liked the character-driven “Rorschach” story - though it had little to do with the actual Watchmen universe; more a nice nod to Steve Ditko; creator of The Question. It’s a great example of his work - very detailed and enthralling story, but it was shoe-horned into the larger Watchmen mythos and disappointed many who wanted another Walter Kovacs story.
I do think that one day he will create his own characters (whether in DC or outside as in “Animal Pound” 👍) and universe and this will be more widely well received, but for now he’s a divisive writer, IMO.
@ElongatedJ What do you mean about something early on? If it’s super spoilery, don’t tell me.
Mister Miracle
What do you think?
