Every time Anti-Moniter appears beyond Crisis on Infinite Earths, the weight of his threat-level feels lessened to me. He’s best used sparingly, in my opinion.

I think he is rarely used, and as you said, he just isn't as great as he used to be, they make him out to be a weak person, even though he at first was considered a multiversal threat, and was known for one of the famous comic events, he is just been disrespected now.

The Anti-monitor is just not a interesting character to me. He's your usual "big cosmic threat unlike any our heros have seen before." How original. Darkseid however, still comes across as threatening no matter how many times he's defeated.
