Season 1, Episode 17: Disordered
Pretty good. The Forever People’s appearance was nice to see again, since the comics, Black Canary giving the YJ members therapy sessions, and yeah. Decent episode. The last episode, Failsafe was pretty tragic and they’re suffering from PTSD because of those traumatizing scenes. Honestly, I never really thought Black Canary would be a good therapist. She’s usually very tough and a “tough-as-nails” type of girl. But wow! She’s pretty good at giving mental counseling.
I like it. I love the episode before. It was nice getting a look into each of their mental health.
Definitely. Out of all of the sessions, the most wholesome was either Aqualad, Robin, Miss Martian, or Superboy. Artemis was kind of acting tough, while Kid Flash was being a total jackass. lol 😂
I’m struggling with mental health as of right now, anyway. I lost a friend who I thought was my best friend because she invited me to her birthday party and everything, but she wasn’t. She left me, anyway, for something stupid. And when my mom and stepmom got back together and we moved to another house, that’s when my mental issues started coming. I’ve also been emotionally abused by my mom. After what I’ve been through, I believe no one loves me, I’m not worthy for anyone to love me, no one cares about me, respects me, thinks about me, or accepts me, I believe I’ll forever be alone, I can’t trust anyone and don’t know how to trust anyone, I lost hope in everyone and think everyone is bad, I lost all emotions, I don’t get sad or cry anymore and I believe emotions are a weakness. And I’m always nervous and scared to help and be nice to people. But yeah. I don’t let any of that get to me, though. I have therapy once every week, I have good coping skills, and I keep myself motivated with inspiring quotes. I choose to keep going rather than stop going.
@Cliff1647 Oh, I get it. My two oldest sisters (one's 31 and the other is 29. They are NOT acting like adults) are abusive and got my parent arrested. They got released after a few days because there was no evidence that my older sisters were supposably being "abused" by my parents because it's all lies, although they still have to go to court and me and my brother can spend all day with my parents but can't sleep in our house with them because we're minors, so we sleep at this elderly couple's house who we're friends with every night (and we have four weeks left to go until the court date to clean up my sisters' mess). It's really affected me, my younger brother, and my other three older sisters.
Sorry you had to go through that, man. You seem like a nice guy, you don’t deserve to go through that.
Yeah, my parents taught me good. I also got bullied by one of my coworkers (another lifeguard) because I stood up for my sister (one of the nice three) reporting her to my boss for doing inappropriate things on the job.
Well, that’s a good thing to do.
Great episode and gave insight into the minds of the characters
That’s for sure. 👍
