When was Harley part of the family?

She’s currently a member in the New 52. She’s also worked with the likes of Batman, Ghost-Maker and other members on multiple different occasions. So, she was known for being a member of the family.

Seems I hardly know squat about New 52 if I didn't know Harleen was in the family. In what way was she?
