No that I'm aware of. The Arrowverse and the DCU will be their own separate universes.

I don’t see them merging either, but on the other hand I don’t see Andy Muschietti’s Batman being as good as Reeves’s, which is only going to hurt the DCU. It will be different of course, with an extended Bat-family, but I fear that will only narrow its appeal to the more dedicated fans, instead of the general audience who can grasp the concept of a solo Batman more easily.

Zaslav and Gunn will not get what they’re after, if the Elseworlds projects are the better movies.

You'd be surprised by how many people are tired of movies about realistic Batman and want something wackier and more fantastical. For better or worse, the MCU proved that people can accept the more grandiose, operatic aspects of superheroes, so if the DCU plays its cards right, it can make a good movie about a more fantastical Batman. After all, the whole concept of a man who dresses like a bat to fight crime is inherently fantastical.

Also, if the DCU's Batman is the only superhero operating in Gotham, fans will probably accuse DC Studios of ripping off Reeves or Christopher Nolan, so really, DC just can't win with some people.

A more fantastical Batman would be a nice change of pace, and since we’re having two cinematic Batmen at the same time it only makes sense to make them distinct from eachother.

I hope they stay separate.
