Remember the good ol' days where Batman's live-action suits were all black because the developers thought a black-and-grey suit would look silly in live-action?
A black symbol on a black batsuit just doesn’t look good. It gets lost in the suit. If you’re going to have a black batsuit you need to have some yellow on the symbol for contrast.
