DC Superhero Girls, the DCEU and Harley Quinn the Animated series are all terrible so that only leaves the already obvious answer. DC, like Marvel, has lost track of the difference between new depictions with independent content and simply trashing their own characters.

Sure. And their top films come from the 90s. (Maybe for DC, but not Marvel)

I’d say Marvel films and series have gotten better in some ways and worse in others. It shouldn’t be so hard to find a DC/Marvel series or movie that doesn’t essentially crap on a character or fifty in one way or another.

And... far worse before the 2000s in respect for any.
