I’m sorry that it appears to be the end of comics material on broadcast TV. I didn’t watch the show, because Superman married with children is so much less interesting to me than him single, in Metropolis, keeping his secret. Also I can’t get used to a Superman with a five o’clock shadow. He did wear the Fleischer costume though, which was deeply gratifying.

I find it weird how the cw dc era started with superman and ended with superman, weird huh?

I was really happy with how it ended. It may have been cut short but they did a great job with what they had. That finale was fantastic.

It was about time.

For all the talk about scrapped ideas for future seasons, I think this was the best ending S&L could have asked for. Characters have changed, goals have been reached and storylines have been concluded, which is exactly what a self-respecting finale should do.

I think it would’ve been nice to have one more season, but no more than that. If it went to six or even seven seasons it probably would’ve had a decline in quality like the other shows did.

Even if the show had gotten one more season, it would have been made with even less money than season 4. Remember that The CW had to be sold to Nexstar because it wasn't profitable for Warner Bros.
