It’s different but we’ve had a lot of Frankensteins and he’s a smaller character so I’m fine with the changes.

James Gunn seems to be going after a very… particular group of people with this series, if you catch my drift. I welcome it obviously, extremely cathartic after the last month.

It's only been 4 episodes but I like what I'm watching.

I just watched #4 and he’s played like an idiot.

An idiot and a sociopath, I agree. He’s dozens of years old and hasn’t learned about boundaries, generosity and logic yet? I like the angle they took with him but I don’t like that he’s taking so long to get his head straight.

Not defending Eric of course, but Dr. Frankenstein was a horrible father. Eric was less than a year old when the bride was made, so he thinks like a little kid and I don’t suppose he was ever taught to be more mature.

I don’t catch your drift at all. Whom do you think this series is aimed at?

What does that have to do with anything? He’s right. Eric Frankenstein never learned anything because he’s spent his whole life uneducated and murdering people due to his obsession over Bride.

It has to do with @I dont care if my name is taken ’s post three days back, which puzzles me. If Eric hasn’t learned anything in nearly 200 years, that’s a disappointing choice by the writer but there’s nothing more to say about it. I’m just trying to understand better what people like about the show.

^^^ it’s not aimed at anyone, I mean the show is expressly making fun of insecure neonazis that live in their moms basements (the sons of Themyscaria, the hub city national socialist convention, Eric’s entire character), which is especially cathartic after the last month.
