Say what you will about his sense of humor, but Gunn's movies are have a lot of heart and emotion.

I hope he does better than Whedon/Snyder did in the DCEU. No offense to you Snyder Cut fans who read this.

None taken, but to be fair, Snyder didn't write his movies. Those were written by David S. Goyer.

I hope he does as well. He's more than capable of doing a Justice League film.
