I didn't go into the movie expecting a masterpiece and as such it wasn't a total disappointment but I've seen way too many movies to even be generous with a 6/10.

I came for Black Adam and I stayed for Dr. Fate and the post-credit scene, while ignoring practically everything else.

I'd give it a 6/10 and that's pretty generous.

It had one of the worst tropes in movies: the roll call. "Here's my team", with some quirky character traits that never become relevant or even acknowledged in the story itself for a couple of costumed extras. If that's how you introdump the character, you didn't need them.

The story is Lord of the Rings... if Aragorn spent more time fighting the forces of Gondor than Mordor, only fought the forces of Mordor because they are specifically targeting him, Frodo is his biggest fanboy and Sauron succeeds in taking back the One Ring.

On the plus side, it's better than Birds of Prey.
