Haven't played that in like five, maybe seven years, possibly more. Of top of my head:
+Expanding the lore of LEGO Batman.
+Giving Batman the 1989 costume with Robin having redesigned Tim Drake costume.
+Gliding was pretty fun.
+Levels are more diverse and fun than LEGO Batman 3.
+The free roam map is much better than all these planets in LEGO Batman 3, not a big fan of portals and tiny worlds with repetitive terrain.
+It's based on Burtonverse Gotham and not that bland soulless Nolanverse Gotham.
+It has those spaceship fights that are absent from subsequent games.
-Flying mechanic is godawful.
-It's Batman and not DC game, Batman and Robin are given all the powers while some heroes get very little. Glad LEGO DC Super Villains fixed that.
-Like every LEGO game from that time, you can't switch your characters at will and have to find a specific spot to do so.
