Let's NOT add more humans to the Corps, please

I do, the Tamarans (Starfire's race) just got their 2nd, maybe 3rd Lantern (can't remember) which is great and the way she was recruited was pretty good, I hope to see more of her. This is what they need to do. Focus on the rest of the Galaxy

It doesn’t have to be one or the other. They can shine light on the rest of the Lanterns throughout the galaxy without limiting the Green Lanterns of Earth. There is a lot of criminal activity on Earth, there is really nothing wrong with having 7-10 Green Lanterns from Earth. If anything we should be getting back to Earth Lanterns that aren’t Green, but that’s besides the point of this post and I’m not even sure how that would work with Jades powers.

The point remains but no, I don't think Alan should be part of the Corps despite the similarities in power and the Guardians involvement in the creation of the Starheart.

But to be honest, I've never cared for the character

I like him more as a mentor and ally that fully inducted member.

Alright I can see that. Perhaps an honorary title would still be suitable in that case? I think at least Jade should be a member again. Their family and the entire JSA has been a mess on Prime Earth so far.

Alan is one of my very favorites, and I can’t see him joining the Corps, simply because the Green Flame of Life chose him to wield power, and that’s enough. He doesn’t need to answer to anyone. He could perhaps accept an honorary membership, but not a ring (he made his own) and certainly not taking orders from the Guardians.

Same with Jade, really - her power is innate. She doesn’t need a ring, or little blue masters.
