My question was designed to make you think about storytelling as a whole and that nothing that takes as much time and effort to create is going to be greenlit on the sole premise of a “cool” concept.

“Cool” elements may stick with us and be memorable, but if all the other elements aren’t engaging then the story will fail as a whole. If you were invited to pitch this film and only brought ‘it would be cool to see these two team up!’ you would asked to leave and never invited back.
