I'd argue we already saw exactly what that would be like with "Ultraman", and bafflingly Gunn didn't really try very hard? The movie invites the audience to ask questions about who and what Ultraman is, and yet none of the CHARACTERS ever ask those questions, nor does the story focus on the mystery. At the same time, Gunn has alluded to "Ultraman" having a sort of tragic backstory, and I feel like actually seeing into his mind would have been helpful? Instead, we only get one word of dialogue, ("Copy,") confirming that he can actually even TALK for himself. But clearly he can.
Idk folks, I think "Ultraman" was a huuuge missed opportunity, and I'm hoping Gunn brings him back to develop more.
