It’d be better than whatever the hell they think they’ve been doing lately.
@Fanfic Nick Something much more perfect could have emerged. I don't know why, but even though nothing official has been announced yet, I have a feeling a collaboration between DC Comics and Valiant Comics is imminent. Who wouldn't want to see a Superman vs. X-O Manowar, Batman vs. Ninjak, or Justice League vs. The Unity?
For Valiant I can't really say anything since I don't know anything about their comics. As for the turtles while I think they can crossover (like they have) I don't really think of them as fitting in DC, as I don't consider New York really a DC location even though it exists in continuity. And because I feel the turtles are the driving force in their multiverse.
@DeefMD They would likely live in a fictional city called Mirage City. Let's take Shazam as an example; Shazam's original comic book publisher was Fawcett Comics, but after DC acquired it, all the Shazam characters were reintroduced as residents of a fictional city called Fawcett City, named after their original publisher. The same formula could be used for TMNT. A fictional city called Mirage City could be created in honor of their original publisher, Mirage Comics, and the TMNT characters could be reintroduced as residents of this fictional city.
Valiant no but TMNT has already fit in pretty well.
@Jstewart2007 Since there hasn't been a comic book crossover between DC and Valiant yet, it's understandable that you might have a negative opinion of Valiant.
No I love Valiant. It just doesn’t seem like it would fit in a world with Superman and stuff.
@Jstewart2007 I love the Valiant Comics characters and believe they would fit well into both the DC and Marvel Universes. However, if they existed in the Marvel Universe, classifying the Valiant characters would be very difficult. Redefining which characters are mutants, which are mutated, and which are non-human would be quite a tedious process, as there are so many prominent species in the Marvel Universe. However, if they existed in the DC Universe, the vast majority of Valiant characters would be classified as metahumans, and that would be quite easy. Imagine Superman facing off against X-O Manowar, or Batman against Ninjak. That would definitely open the door to much better stories for DC Comics. I think new armored characters could be introduced to the DC Universe. X-O Manowar's armor is quite durable, meaning it can handle Superman's powers, and with the right scenario, this could lead to a quality Superman vs. X-O Manowar match. Who wouldn't want to see that kind of rivalry? A rivalry that started as hostile at first, but then a friendship.
What do you think?
