It’s not that he had contingencies that the other have a problem with. In fact this is made very clear.

It is that he does not tell them he made contingencies.

He would not even have to go into detail what they are.

@Optimus Magnum Over Lord , you already posted this back in July and I will gave you the same response: the problem with the plans is that Batman made them without his friends' knowledge or approval, not the plans themselves. If he talked to his friends about it, they probably would have agreed and even contributed to the plans' protection to keep them falling into enemy hands, but Batman didn't do it because he thought that he could do a better job than the team of literal superhumans protecting the world 24/7.

What if *Batman* goes evil (the Batman Who Laughs, anyone?) or suffers mind control? He now can destroy the league - or what if Ra’s Al Ghul discovers the contingencies when infiltrating the Batcave? Or, heaven forbid, Batman programs the contingencies into a robot as a fail safe ?

He couldn’t have told them about the contingencies since they would have known about them and would have been able to counteract them had they turned evil.
