Why would Netflix bring back a guy that lost it tons of money? What is the logic behind that course of action?

I just hope the DCU doesn’t end up being like the MCU and they start prioritizing animated projects that actually feel like they could be straight from the comics and don’t feel like something Harley Quinn and Mr. Mxyzptlk wrote together on drugs.
