What were your thoughts on the series? What did you like and dislike?
Hi! My first post on here ever after YEARS of using this wiki. Anyway, just a quick question. Is the Arrowverse and the new DCU merging? Because I was reading the latest stuff about it (the new DCU) and it confused me about things. Just wanted to ask to get my confusion out of the way thanks!

What are some things the DCU should do like the Arrowverse? I think the DCU should be like the Arrowverse in the way they handled their connected universe. They made it feel interconnected while standalone at the same time. When I watched Flash, I hadn’t seen any other Arrowverse show. They referenced and crossed over with the other shows, but it remained standalone enough that I could watch the show and its crossovers and not be confused. And they handled it in a way where even if you didn’t watch the other shows, you could still enjoy seeing the other characters. I haven’t seen Arrow, but I like seeing him pop up in other shows. Tell me about your ideas in the comments.

Originally, the show was meant to focus on Alan Scott and Guy Gardner portrayed by Jeremy Irvine and Finn Wittrock. It has been confirmed today that the show will no longer focus on these two characters but instead will focus on John Stewart. The show has also lost it's writer and showrunner Seth Grahame-Smith who had fully written the scripts for all 8 episodes. The show is being produced by Greg Berlanti as executive producer. Marc Guggenheim was originally involved but not anymore. Keep in mind that these two are CW Arrowverse producers and writers. They also wrote the 2011 Green Lantern movie that still gives Ryan Reynolds nightmares. The Green Lantern show was originally meant to be one of HBO Max's most expensive show below House of the Dragon with an estimated budget of $120 million and the most expensive DC show but now that is being changed with budget cuts being made by WB Discovery CEO David Zaslav. It's also worth mentioning that this show is not part of the DCEU or Arrowverse. What do you guys think of this? Do you think the show will be as bad as the 2011 Green Lantern movie? Do you guys think it will even be made?
