DC Animated Movie Universe

I think the animation style of this movie universe and the overall plot and writing direction was a bit underwhelming considering the potential they had to execute it brilliantly like they did with the DCAMU and the Apocalypse War grand finale. It lacked the connection and impact that the DCAMU movies laid out brilliantly during its run, and at times the voice acting felt more to be desired for as well. While I don’t hate the Tommorowverse, I can’t say I loved it like the DCAMU

Will the tomorrowverse continue or will it be adapting DC Rebirth in an animated form?

Am i the only one who wants a new DCAMU movie because apokolips war ending was a brutal, i need to know what happend to Them all and how they are doing.

I want to watch the movies but I cant find it on HBO MAX, so where can I watch it?

Just watched the animated short on Netflix and I have to say first of all I think it was really good from Matt Ryan’s performance to the tone of the short and the plot of it all. Really felt like I was being tortured not only John himself.

Towards the end we see him escape the loop to meet Spectre and he says that the house was meant to be a place where he would be happy surrounded by his closest friends/family, Not intended to be tortured & killed for centuries by the demon representations.

After that he shows what seems like a big bang of this universe he’s in with John’s expression changing from awestruck to quickly being horrified of it begging the Spectre to kill him before being pulled in.

That leads me to some questions that maybe I’m overthinking about.

1) What exactly was that cosmic event if not a “big bang” extinction event that caused John to freak out? Any theories or answers are appreciated.

2) The universe that has been destroyed is the same universe as the reboot animated films or a pocket dimension that’s only there for the house of mystery/Spectre’s punishment?

3) the universe that we see the flash create a flashpoint in at the end of Apokolips War is the Man of Tomorrow universe right or am I mistaken?

Welcome to the second Speedster Review where I review movies/comics or games! Today I'll review Justice League: Throne of Atlantis as I'm watching the whole DCAMU (DC animated movie universe) and I watched it yesterday.

So let's begin:

Justice League: Throne of Atlantis

I must say that this movie is the worst of them till now (I've watched Flashpoint Paradox, War, Batman & Son und Throne of Atlantis). I didn't hate it, I enjoyed it really, but I enjoy all of these movies (my favourite being War so far). The movies presents an Aquaman origin, which was okay, but in the third act Aquaman had his character development way to fast. I was really triggered in the scene where Aquaman killed Black Manta, as in my opinion Super-Heroes dont kill (at least humans). The relationship between Mera and Arthur was also underdeveloped. Ocean Master and Black Manta are defeated way to fast. The movie's big problem is that it is way too overfiled and it can't handle all plotlines (It only has a rutime of 72 minutes!) in its short runtime. The first and second act are handled pretty well, but the third act is really rushed. The third act only lasts like 10 minutes and that is way too short.

I really like the interactions between the Justice League members, but I can't stand the relationship between Diana and Clark. I really hate it when Wonder Woman is shipped with Clark or Bruce.

All in all it's an fun and entertaining movie, but nothing special. I'd give it a 7/10.
