DCU

I know many would disagree but I'm not really interested in having Hawkgirl if she joined the DCU Justice League and I think she would fit better in The Terrifics. I know that everyone wants it because it would make the League just like the DCAU one or the one from the recent comics but honestly I think she fits better with The Terrifics than in the League.

I think The Terrifics in the DCU should be as different as the Justice League and the Titans are. They're the first heroes in DC history and i think their roster should include various members from different generations from the 1940s (Jay Garrick, Alan Scott, Wildcat etc.) or the 60s (Clark Kent, Bruce Wayne, Diana Prince etc.) and Kendra Saunders is the reincarnation of Shiera and would be a let down.

In the Peacemaker Season 2 trailer we saw her still with LordTech so i think by the end of Superman. She and Guy will be still part of the Justice Gang and possibly if we get a Justice Gang/The Terrifics project. I would like it if they explored the DCU connection between heroes and values in their world, preparing the final stage for a Chapter One: Gods & Monsters in the DCU. There can be a place where both teams worked together.

I noticed in that in Creature Commandoes that GI Robot mentioned that he was waited 74 years to kill with friends again. I see people are saying the show is set around 2023, but if WW2 ended in 1945, 74 years after that would be 2019? The third episode of the show didn’t show GI killing anyone in the years close to 1945, so I don’t know if I’m the only one thinking about that or not.

Hi! My first post on here ever after YEARS of using this wiki. Anyway, just a quick question. Is the Arrowverse and the new DCU merging? Because I was reading the latest stuff about it (the new DCU) and it confused me about things. Just wanted to ask to get my confusion out of the way thanks!

With both Superman and Batman, as well as Robin and Green Lantern, being reinvigorated for the D.C.U., and The Flash (2023) paving the way for the new franchise, it makes one wonder if the Justice League will one day be reiterated for it as well. James Gunn and Peter Safran may not have said anything about the team given their current plans, but given how the League is D.C.'s flagship team and those three particular heroes being among its members, it makes one wonder if the two of they will one day include them in any future entries. Plus, the title for the franchise's first "Chapter", "Gods and Monsters", is named after one of the team's comic arcs and its animated film version. And if so, with Darkseid being the League's greatest enemy, the only remaining questions are if he'll be included as well in the future, who could portray him, what he's after could be, and how such a future conflict could take place. Obviously, given the plans that James and Peter have made and those that they're developing, in addition to considering what their vision will be, it'll be very different from Zack Snyder's scrapped plans. But given how popular they are in the comics, they just have to be included.

What are some things the DCU should do like the Arrowverse? I think the DCU should be like the Arrowverse in the way they handled their connected universe. They made it feel interconnected while standalone at the same time. When I watched Flash, I hadn’t seen any other Arrowverse show. They referenced and crossed over with the other shows, but it remained standalone enough that I could watch the show and its crossovers and not be confused. And they handled it in a way where even if you didn’t watch the other shows, you could still enjoy seeing the other characters. I haven’t seen Arrow, but I like seeing him pop up in other shows.
