In Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths and the Young Justice tie in, Why does Jon look like so much older than Conner?
I have a question and I’m hoping to get some clarification. I really want to read Dark Crisis, but I’m concerned that I’m missing a few things. I have read Crisis on Infinite Earths. Do I need to read anything else before reading Dark Crisis? And after finish Dark Crisis, I can read Dawn of DC, right? Just want to be sure that I understand.
I fucking hate "Earth 789". The mere concept of it disgusts me. Why would any smooth-brained writers at DC want to combine the Burtonverse and Donnerverse as well as make sure Clark and Kara are the only super-powered beings? It makes no sense. The Burtonverse was dark and macabre, with an air of black comedy. The Donnerverse on the other hand was lighthearted, campy, and optimistic. It's especially baffling since The Flash (2023) canonized Nicolas Cage's Superman from Superman Lives, who was supposed to be the Superman of the Burtonverse. It's all complicated for no reason whatsoever. If I were in charge at DC, I'd make it so that the Donnerverse is Earth 78, the Burtonverse is Earth 89, and the Schumacherverse is Earth 97. The problem is that DC seems to treat its multiverse(s) differently from Marvel. But now, after Dark Crisis restored the Infinite Multiverse, there's no reason to have multiple multiverses. Why not increase communication between different creative teams, DC? Or better yet have advisors to address this sort of discrepancy? If you have one big infinite fictional multiverse, give each universe and piece of media a unique designation, and STOP REUSING UNIVERSE DESIGNATIONS FFS!!!
Rant over.

In dark crisis pariah attempts to bring back the pre crisis multiverse but he shouldn’t have to do this as the events of convergence made it so the pre crisis multiverse was never destroyed.
We know the Justice League have been stuck in their individual paradise worlds but where’s the Justice Incarnate. They never brought them up in the event. Are they on their own Paradise worlds or dead?
What are your thoughts about the current line up of comics and the DCU in general ever since infinite frontier? Do you like the direction DC seems to be heading in with comics like son of kal-el, new champion of Shazam, world's finest etc?
So they’ve just unveiled this.
It looks like after Dark Crisis, Nightwing may be part of something bigger.
First we had Wally West as a major player in DC Rebirth, then we had Superman being inspired by the Justice Society and inspired the Legion of Super-Heroes in Doomsday Clock, then we had Wonder Woman’s original involvement in Generations leading up to 5G which eventually was changed to her being involved with Death Metal, and now what will they do with Nightwing may be important after Dark Crisis
So I haven't recently been able to read comics or anything in general. But with Dark Crisis wrapping up soon I was wondering, what are your thoughts on it as far as quality?
I’ve heard mostly bad about it but aside from Sojourner I quite enjoy where they seem to be taking John Stewart.
