I feel like it’s pretty widely accepted that Gotham city is in the state of New Jersey just north of Atlantic City, which according to all the maps online checks out, I even think most writers take that into account when spacing Gotham from other landmarks. But can anyone find any written proof that Gotham is located in New Jersey? I’m having trouble. It’s the only fake DC city in the DC Atlas that’s not specifically given a state location, (with the exception of Metropolis which has been out right put in New York in writing a few times in the last 20 years, and Fawcett City which I believe has moved around a bit and if someone can help me out with where Fawcett is located now too that would be a help).
I’m just wondering if anyone can give me a source that has evidence that Gotham is in New Jersey. Even a comic that mentions other landmarks in New Jersey that it’s close to(Garden State Parkway, Jersey Shore, Atlantic City, Trenton, New Jersey turnpike, etc)
