Green Lantern Ring

I might be over thinking this but I don’t understand how green lanterns powers work. Like they can make constructs out of hard light energy. But then how are those objects able to function like the real thing and also how come they use hard light energy but they can create fleshy things such as humans, like could they also create say an apple, would it be edible? would it give the same nutrients as a regular apple, and also the movies might not be canon but didn’t kilowog create a whole sun!!! How are you able to do that out of light energy?💀💀💀

Would a Green Lantern with absolute will have infinite co trol and power of the power ring?

So I’ve noticed that some green lantern corps members have drastically different finger sizes from normal humans, and some don’t even have fingers. How do the rings fit them? I could t find anything about them being to grow and shrink in their page.

So does anyone know when John Stewart’s powers are gonna be touched up on again? I’m really curious about him being a literal power ring and battery without needing an actual green lantern ring and the limits of his powers compared to other unique lanterns like Hal, and Kyle.

Can a Green Lantern power ring give members like John Stewart, Guy Gardner, Kyle Rayner or Jessica Cruz superhuman strength?

Think about it, if you are in a battle and you just "think" that you want to win, so won't it just be that you use your "will"? Why can't the ring user just "will" every villain dead? If it's all only dependent on "will", then in the middle of a fight you could just will the opponent to lose right? And if you just don't care about the fight and think you're the strongest, then you'd have an obscene amount of will. And thus, you could simply "will" your opponent to lose. And if it is like that, then won't the rings become the most powerful weapons in existence?

But can Green Lantern make Kryptonite with his Ring? Or would it be like if he tried to make spinach, it would look like it but not have the flavor or anything.

In the Green Lantern film, it said that the ring acts as a knowledge base. Does it include the map of the whole universe?

I was watching Superman: Red Son (previously having read a bit of Green Lantern: Earth One) and I noticed how those Green Lanterns only glow green and have the Green Lantern symbol almost imposed on their chest, while wearing whatever it may be.

So, is the Green Lantern Ring "space magic", or emitting "space magic"? What happens to their normal clothing? How does a Lantern Corps member make more rings? Could a Green Lantern encapsulate a normal house and turn it into a castle or something?

This question got me thinking about the supposed problem with the CGI'ed GL suit in the 2011 movie. I honestly didn't see anything wrong with it.
