Metropolis

I need some recommendations, but I've already read All Star Superman, Grant Morrison's Action Comics, Superman: Brainiac, The Death/return of Superman, Secret Origin, Birthright, For all Seasons, The Man of Steel, Superman Revenge Squad 2017, and a bunch of elseworlds stories. So, I really want main continuity stories that are absolutely worth reading through all/most of...

Also, I'm planning on reading Greg Pak's Action Comics soon too, so yeah.

I had recently read from the internet that Batman in the Injustice: Gods Among Us Comics, actually confessed to Superman that he missed the joker more than he missed Metropolis. Now that is just both shocking and sad, which got me thinking about a few questions.

The questions are as follows:

1) Why does Batman miss the Joker more?

2) Why doesn't Batman miss Metropolis more?

3) Why is Batman so heartless about missing Metropolis less than the Joker?

4) Why can't Batman miss Metropolis more than the Joker?

And,

5) How can Batman be so serious about missing Metropolis less than the Joker?

Joker is NOT Batman's Friend, Superman IS Batman's Best Friend, and the Joker wants to KILL Batman and NOT Befriend him. Also, Batman doesn't like the Joker, Batman Likes Superman (Sometimes), and Batman would want to be more on his own (sometimes with Superman) than with the Joker. So why on Earth would Batman sorely Miss His Old Enemy (even after what he did to Superman and his life), and not miss his Best Friend's City and Life the most?

I would like to hear what people have to say about this.
