So there has been a distinct lack of votes on the recent nominations post, even though people were participating. I’ve decided to restructure this series into three parts to fix the problem.
Part 1: nominations
Part 2: votes
Part 3: the poll
Hopefully giving the votes their own post will increase the amount of votes we get. I am also setting a deadline for the nominations. You have until February 18 at 4PM EST. After this all nominations will be moved on to part 2.

NOMINATIONS
HOW TO NOMINATE: To nominate a character, simply comment something like “I nominate [BLANK]” or “I choose [BLANK]” and either use a photo of that specific character, or link to their page. Be clear and specific about which version you are referring to.
WHO YOU CAN NOMINATE: Villains, or anti-heroes that could believably be sent prison for their actions. They must be from a mainstream DC universe. Valid universes include Earth-two, Earth-one, New Earth and Prime Earth.
WHO YOU CAN’T NOMINATE: Heroes, civilians or any characters from alternate realities. For example, you couldn’t nominate President Superman from Earth 23, as he is both a superhero and not from a mainstream universe. Also try not to nominate a character who’s already been on the Suicide Squad.
VOTING
HOW TO VOTE: To vote, you must reply to a nomination with something like “I agree with [BLANK]” or “I vote for [BLANK]”. Anything works as long as it’s clear your voting for that specific nomination. Upvotes do not affect nominations in any way whatsoever.
WHAT VOTES DO: The top 6 most voted nominations will move on to part 2 of the election. Part 2 is a poll deciding the final winner of the election.

Ok, so the original post didn’t get as much traction as I was hoping for, so things will be going a little differently than planned. Originally I was planning on using the 6 most voted on nominations in a poll, but we ended up only getting 6 nominations entirely. So I’m at a crossroads. Should we do another nominations round, or should we just do the poll with the six nominations we have?

So here’s how it works:
You’ll nominate a character, and other users vote for the characters they like most. The top 6 nominations will be moved on to part 2, the poll.
RULES:
The character must be a villain, or an anti-hero who is likely to get arrested (for example peacemaker)
The character must be from a version of the mainstream universe (pre-crisis, post-crisis, post-flashpoint, etc.)
No joke nominations. You can nominate a character that is funny, but don’t nominate a character just for laughs that you don’t actually want on the team.
To vote, you must reply to a user’s nomination in agreement. For example, something like “I vote for user’s nomination” or “I second nomination”
Upvotes do not affect the voting process at all.
Only 1 nomination per user.
Only 6 votes per user.
Link to the character you are nominating or specify which version, so people understand who it is.
Try not to get off-topic.
