Actually that is really confusing as there had been a lot of recons during new earth. Given there are two accounts of batmans second year alone for batman (the long Halloween and batman year two). there is also two or three accounts on how Dick became Nightwing as well. one being robin dies at dawn were Bruce fires him after Dick is shot by the joker, then there is Nightwing year one. also new earth batman met Jason Todd when he stole the tires off the batmobile well earth one Jason was a circus brat like Dick. Well as I understand the DC multiverse theory and the history of it, There have always been infinite universes in DC but the beings known as the Hands kept them separated as 'pockets' of 52 universes, and, those pockets of 52 universes were contained in such a way that each pocket could not interact with each other, now as part of an Omniverse, the 'pockets' are linked together. so the arrow (multi)verse was unconnected to the comic multiverse, however now they are theoretically connected to each other.

Actually, in every mainstream universe, Selina kyle/catwomen starts off as Villian then becomes a hero. her general learning of batman's identity as Bruce Wayne (in earth-two/golden) happens in the brave and the bold 197. (however, she marries him in 1977). Selina's mind change by Zatanna was in my opinion DC scraping at the bottom of the barrel to keep batman and Catwoman from finally getting together before a robot. DC had a policy that the batfamily cant be happy. likely stemming from the silver age debocal that was Batwoman and batmans relationship.

MektonZ· Dr. manhatten did mention something about superman fighting thor himself along with a hulking green monster sacrificing himself to save them all in Doomsday clock number twelve the fight happening in 2030. personally I like thor far better than superman so i would love to see the god of thunder beat superman across the universe. however it seems they're holding on the core assets Ie superman batman wonder woman and the rest of the dc universe...plus dc heroe,s other then a massive crossover event would not really fit in 616. personally i am more worried about Godzilla vs Kong then any dc stuff.
