Hi everyone! I'm Haroldrocks, an administrator on the Database!
I just released a video detailing my thoughts on the story arc that got me into comics in the first place - New 52 Batman's 'The Court of Owls'. If you're so inclined to hear my thoughts and watch my art process - (I'm an animator) -here's the link to the video on YouTube: https://youtu.be/eQrqspFG4IY
In my review, I mention how successful the arc was at re-introducing Batman as a character and his world post-Flashpoint, making it a perfect jumping on point for new readers like me at the time, while still dealing with interesting ways to challenge the character to make it a great read for veteran Bat-fans as well!
But I also wanted to open the discussion up outwards to you all, who are probably very familiar with the story already, by getting your opinions! What are your thoughts on Batman: The Court of Owls, Night of the Owls, and The City of Owls? What were your thoughts at the time with the New 52 reboot, specifically in regards to Batman? And, with their appearances in other media spreading out since their appearance, what would you like to see DC do with the Court of Owls next?
Thanks for any interest and discussion!
