Chronological reading order for Earth-31

I'm going to re-read Frank Miller's Batman comics and I want to read them in the internal chronological order. Does this seem about rite?

Superman: Year One (Volume 1)
"Batman: Year One"
All Star Batman and Robin, the Boy Wonder (Volume 1)
Batman/Spawn
The Dark Knight Returns: The Last Crusade #1
Countdown: Arena (Volume 1) (not sure where to place this)
Batman: The Dark Knight Returns (Volume 1)
1. Superman: The Man of Steel #37 (This seems to happen mid-story)
2. Planetary/Batman: Night on Earth (Also mid-story)
3. Superman and Batman: World's Funnest (Occurs at the climax of the fight)
Fanboy #5
The Dark Knight Strikes Again (Volume 1)
Dark Knight III: The Master Race (Volume 1) and its one-shots
The Dark Knight Returns: The Golden Child #1

As I recall, any other appearances (e.g. 'Mazing Man #12, Justice Society of America (Volume 3) #5, or Superman/Batman #25) are just cameos--correct me if I'm wrong.

We should have those. There are categories such as Category:Superman_Titles that serve a similar purpose.

I think that repeating this copy over and over again is probably unwise. Seems like this should be a note at New Gods and that would be sufficient.

To answer your original question, a Platonic form is a philosophical concept from Plato. He believed that for any thing to exist in this world, there must be a perfect, idealized version of that thing that exists in a realm of purely abstract idea as well (e.g. justice or a chair). Grant Morrison wrote Batman speculating that the characters from Jack Kirby's Fourth World/New Gods comics are like Platonic ideals who embody or represent some idea rather than simply being some physical being.

Well, a couple of ways that are not very efficient come to mind: one is taking the data here and forking it, then making modifications to the code that mimic the feature at the Marvel Database. Another is using AutoWikiBrowser to maybe make a list of categories and sort them in a spreadsheet. A third is making a database out of the entries and querying it. Those are all pretty involved. :/

Not on this wiki. There is on the Marvel Database--that is the default sorting there. It *could* be done here with some tweaks but there is no political will to do it.

It's 100% Captain Marvel: "Golly" and "Shazam!" are catchphrases of Jim Nabors' character Gomer Pyle. Gosh, what an unfunny comic book.

Seems like Captain Marvel to me. He was a Justice Leaguer around this time, he appears in the story again briefly but doesn't have another name, and "Golly!" seems like a play on the fact that he exclaims "Shazam!"

If the rule were "Use shortform names if the character uses it" then that would be perfectly fine. That's just not the rule.
