<p>Scarecrow is correct! Different sources often site Scarecrow as some sort of design basis for Ghoul, which I can't substantiate, but I did find an old VHS ad that called him Scarecrow. I think it was on my SubZero VHS back in the day. </p><p>(The amount of people there never deterred me. It just fell off of my radar. I'm not at all opposed to doing some discussing there.) </p>

I'll just give a hint now so someone can finally take over: it's the name of an existing DC character. VERY easy to look up.

<p>It's Alex Ross. Bruce Timm has claimed that "Super Friends is like the bible to Alex Ross." </p><p>I'll come up with a better question ASAP. I'll admit, that one was hard to hint and didn't have a lot to go off of. </p>

<p>They do covers, mostly, but they've done a couple of very well-known limited series/graphic novels. I would say their notoriety as transcended their most notable works, though. </p>

Nobody's got any guesses for a legendary comic book artist? This is the kind of person that's one of the first names I come up with thinking about great comic book artists.

<p>It is B'wana Beast! I checked the tapes, and Timm called him "[his] favourite character." It might've been a somewhat facetious remark, but he clearly likes the character a lot. </p>

<p>New hint: If you know one thing about this character, it's probably their superpower(s); this ain't your conventional super strength + flying character. </p>

<p>Nope. The character is an odd superhero from the '60s. They've been in other DC media, too. </p>

<p>Actually, Maybe I should get a little more specific and say this is a minor character within the DCAU. It's not Batman, John Stewart, Lex Luthor, etc. </p>

<p>Nope. What made you go in that direction? </p><p>Hint #1 is that the character does appear in a DCAU series. BTAS, Superman, TNBA, Batman Beyond, Static Shock, Justice League or JLU. Not even sure if Zeta Project counts, but it ain't that one. </p>
