If that were the case, he wouldn't have tried to get Bruce to do the deed.

I often wonder what it would take to push Bruce back to his murder mentality, what would be too much for him to stomach?

Eventually, I suppose we will find out.

That's just it... Some killing is justified. If stopping Joker isn't a reason, maybe limiting collateral. Or even examine heroes of eras before. Sumerian, Egyptian, Biblical, or Homeric there are precedents for it.

In Jason's case I think he still wants Bruce's approval and such would never gain it.

A/ At some point you have to admit there is no reforming him

B/ There are characters who would off him without a second thought (Jason being #1 with a bullet)

There is an ominous quality, in keeping with the Ninja aesthetic. The last thing you should be able to do is identify your antagonist.

It's funny, but they all kinda blur together for me now. Begins I believe had the best surprise antagonist. But Dark Knight has the best antagonist portrayal.

Rises was sort of like an afterthought for me.

No... I think Joker's fondest wish is to goad Batman into killing him. If he could figure a way to have Earth Prime end if Bruce didn't kill him he might then.

You can't live in an age as dark as this one if hero can't equate to antihero. From the earliest of recorded history heroes have been synonymous with killing, vengeance, retribution. There never was an age of Superman. He is a hero unlike others, but that doesn't mean others should be exactly like him.

We have a glimpse of several heroes, as if Superman wasn't enough to begin with, so I have to doubt it will change anything.

The speed of the bullets can be overtaken, I understand that... But how come they aren't burned by them?

Honestly... They should be stockier, with lungs that labor in Earth's thinner atmosphere. Their skin tone should also be significantly darker.
