DC/WB needs to do better marketing because I didn’t even know this movie existed.
It’s an alright movie. The biggest problem is that this isn’t actually Legion of Super-heroes, and is meant to be a Supergirl movie, but they even fail at that. The movie’s interpretation of the character wasn’t good.
It was pretty weird to put Kara in the military guild instead of the science guild. Also, she was pretty flat and emotionless. She didn’t seem like she cared a whole lot about anything that was going on. She didn’t seem that sad about krypton dying either.
This was obviously a rushed one-shot that went nowhere and will go nowhere. At least I got Kara and Brainy, but once again she wasn’t exactly a well written Kara. I’ll take what I can get though. Still better than the CW.
A simple no will suffice
We used to have a 1,000 limit at the Marvel wiki but the mods gave up after 2020.

Unfortunate
Do they have crossplay?
New Earth
@Anotherbatmanfan i think he is saying he doesn't like Prime Earth Kara specifically, not necessarily Kara in general.
Anyways, my favorite character is Supergirl, preferably Kara. Matrix/Linda Danvers(the only other notable character that was Supergirl) suffered from poor writing and corporate hate for Supergirl that she really went nowhere.
I haven't seen Sasha Calle in anything. All I know is that she is in some soap opera on TV. If she can act then I am fine with it. However if they decide to do Matrix/Linda Danvers then we'll have a problem.
Hair and skin color doesn't really matter. If they want to dye her hair then fine by me. Her skin color is still light toned so who cares. I don't have a huge problem with the casting other than she has little to no credibility to be given the part.
I don't like CW Supergirl. Melissa Benoist isn't as good as people say, or at least she isn't a good Supergirl. Whether that be her acting skills, the writing, or both; Melissa Benoist failed and, as far as I am aware, continues to fail at delivering an entertaining Supergirl adaption.
Btw Gal Gadot was super annoying. Between her facial expressions and her raspy and quiet voice at times, I look back at the first time I watched Wonder Woman(2017) and wonder how I found so much enjoyment in the movie.
When saying "people" I am specifically referring to Snyder fanboys. Thankfully I've never met a Snyder fanboy in person, but I use the term "people" loosely because I don't know if they are actual people or AI at this point.
We live in a society where I think Zach Snyder and his fanboys live in the same society
I've seen a lot of good movies that were long yet felt short because I was enjoying it so much.
I have also seen a lot of bad and mediocre movies that were long and felt long because it was a chore to sit through.
Guess which criteria I put Justice League "The Snyder Cut" in.
I just finished watching it. When I started I really wanted to like it, despite believing it to be pointless and unnecessary, but it was not entertaining like I was hoping. That said, compared to Justice League(2017), this was slightly more coherent in story telling. However, I'm still wondering why it was necessary for it to have a 4 hour runtime. That run time could be cut in half if they would have scrapped the entire story from the "original cut" and reworked the film entirely. Of course then it wouldn't be called "the Snyder cut" but this was way too long. Why should a superhero film take nearly 3 hours to build a narrative that is coherent and then take 1 hour for the climax and mediocre ending, when they could do just as much at the same run time as the "original" Justice League film.
For real, the Snyder Cut had way too many scenes that were either pointless or long or both, which sums up this entire movie anyways. There was also the disgusting amount of slow mo scenes. I can only imagine how long the Flash movie is gonna be if this is what they are rolling with.
This film was unnecessary and I will forever ridicule those Snyder fanboys that believe Snyder to be a god at film making. It's hilarious that people believed this was worth the wait. Being the least bad in bad films doesn't make it good.
Also have I expressed how bored I am with the whole Injustice story? We better not see a Injustice-esque sequel.
This list? Man of Steel and Aquaman

This is the most intelligent thing I have ever seen
I do believe that her PTSD is one of the factors to how Kara is the way she is. That said, if prioritized too often it weakens the initial punch and emotion of what happened to Krypton and how she reacts to it.
Kara has yet to be allowed to accept that Krypton is gone. The only reason she hasn't is because the writers and editors are completely out of touch with character development.
Her PTSD was interesting in the New 52 and was explored a little more than New Earth did imo, but that was 10 years ago. I don't expect her PTSD to go away because that would be very unrealistic. The least they can do is have her accept that Krypton is gone and stop centering her character around only that.
I think there is a lot better things they could explore in a mini. One of the reasons why I still enjoyed Supergirl: Being Super is that she wasn't plagued with all of the Krypton PTSD crap and had a normal life. It was a change of pace for Supergirl and we need to see that again, but better.
I also don't know who she is. If she is a decent actress and is given a good script then I'll take it.
I seriously don't understand the problem with her being latina. If Kara being white/light skinned in the comics is such a big deal, I'd like to point out that Sasha Calle's skin is still pretty light.
@Spaztacular only you
Why would Kara make her first appearance in the Flash film?
