Does anyone know if Milk Wars is required reading to read Doom Patrol vol 6?
This rollercoaster of a discussion was wild
I mean Wally remembers everything pre 52 now, and he’s been around almost as long the rest of our generation of characters, but you believe whatever you want man
They had missing time because of Manhattan, but many have gotten it back already and others probably will after Doomsday Clock
Fate, written by Snyder and Tynion, drawn by Jimenez
Best thing that’s happened since the last time I said something was the best thing that had happened. I can’t get to my LCS until Friday, but based on Dodd’s standing there and them being young I can infer time travel is happening. Thats cool, it’s nice seeing the now-dead Societers.
I genuinely have no idea what you mean by that
A. What Tupka said is about right, and it’s been a few years since No Mans Land (comic time) so she’s probably around 30.
B. Just to clear a bit of confusion I read on the way to the bottom reply, I heard a lot of things that are flat out wrong. Our world time means nothing in comics. It’s not that their time moves slower, it’s just that we see what we see, there’s time that doesn’t pass in their world and there’s time that does (example: in the Flash (2016) Issue 9 is October, and Issue 23 is May. However, that doesn’t mean that every 14 issues is 5 months, because it’s not. 14 issues could be 3 seconds if the writer wanted it to be.) Second, New Earth isn’t an alternate reality. It’s the same reality, but some people’s memories are goofy and some people are disappeared. The Prime Earth characters can’t go to New Earth, they’re already on it.
C. I hope that helped
I think in one of the Arkham games on a patient file he said that’s what happened to him. Not that it had actually happened, but he was messing with the doctor. Forgive me if my memory is wrong, but what you’re speaking of sounds familiar whether it’s the Arkham game or not
Thanks Culpa

Prime Earth is the same as New Earth, but with very small differences/additions. Read Steve Orlando’s Martian Manhunter that’s going on right now if you want the whole origin
Thanks, man. I’m going to try to become more active on here so it’s good to know there’s some good and helpful people
Thanks. The differences in how the story is being told is actually one of the main appeals to the Doom Patrol. Thank you, both
Is the Young Animal (2016) Doom Patrol series a good place to jump on for someone new to the Patrol? Looking for a good (and easy) way to jump into the group.
Batgirl: Year Ones your best bet. Other than that and Misfits he usually just shows up in cameo roles. There’s also the story where he becomes a moth-like creature (it starts with a C and ends with an X, I can’t spell), which is in a story in the Robin (1993) title, you can find that story easily on the Drury Walker (New Earth) page. Hope I could help.
When Wally was trapped in the speed force (Dc Rebirth #1) he was in his Kid Flash suit. It stands to reason that maybe just Bart was in his Impulse suit in the speed force because of comic books, and then he either A. saw Wallace was Kid Flash and decided finding his friends was more important or B. Just didn’t care. But that doesn’t actually answer your question l, it’s just my take. I think that while Bart did progress, his personality fits Impulse more, and also I don’t think he’d care about his title as much as just living life. That’s my take.
Yeah. I hope it doesn’t end up happening. As a huge Batman fan, I personally really enjoyed what King was doing at the beginning and what he’s doing now (from the wedding to Knightmares it was a little shotty besides those Dick issues). I wanted to see how he was going to end his run.
That being said, he’ll be staying at DC which I’m excited for. Heroes in Crisis is more or less done, but he still has this new mini. I hope he gets another ongoing too, and my top pick would be for him and Mikel to join Nightwing whenever the Ric story is done.
I’ve seen some photoshops of him in a suit, I can see it.
His writing is shotty and his art is certainly less than it used to be, but I’m excited nonetheless to see him on this, however I question Deadman’s involvement outside of Adams’ obsession with him.
Neal Adams (legendary comic artist and co-creator of the al Ghuls) is back on Batman! For a six-Issue mini-series that comes this August, “Batman vs. Ras al Ghul” will be a story of Batman and Deadman facing off against a terrorist attack in Gotham, sent by Ras. Here’s the link to Dc’s Article:
We can see Dick back in his Nightwing suit behind Bruce and Ras, and since this is part of the Year of the Villain that means that Dick is back! On the cover anyways. Also with them on this cover is either Tim or Damian Robin, but no Deadman.
What’re your thoughts on Adams writing again? Drawing? Are you excited for this series?
