25 years of active cooperation is now over. According to the article, Diamond stated near the start of the pandemic that it would withhold the payments to its publishers after DC decided to pause the production of comics.
DC had to go find alternatives during the time and I can only assume the alternatives provide them with a better return on comics production costs.
