Well I rather call him Captain Thunder, it fits way more than Captain Marvel and The Captain due to the lighting bolt on his chest and avoiding any conflicts with Marvel Comics. but in my opinion, I think Billy Batson would have two names for his alter ego either Shazam or Captain Thunder.
Before Wonder Woman's origin was retconned in the new 52, How was she more powerful than all of the amazons of Themyscira in Post-Crisis when she's blessed by the five Greek goddesses just like all the amazons? and how is she the second most powerful hero in the DC universe after Superman?
I am thinking Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern (either Hal Jordan or John Stewart), The Flash (either Barry Allen or Wally West), Aquaman (possibly), Martian Manhunter (possibly), Cyborg (possibly), Shazam (possibly), Hawkman (possibly), Green Arrow (possibly) and Black Canary (possibly).
Since DC comics started a partnership with the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, I didn't know they're planning on making a five issue comic book series in March 2025 which sounds exciting, and I wonder which members of the Justice League will be the main focus for this event?
I know @ScavengerOne but would it hurt to call him Captain Thunder for the current continuity?
Since one of the writers decided to change Shazam's name into The Captain (and not Captain Marvel due to legal reasons with Marvel Comics), I thought it would be better if they named him Captain Thunder.

After reading Absolute Power #4, I really hope that season 3 of My Adventures with Superman will do the same thing to her.
She could have take them away out of her mind so she won't use them for blackmail, that's what I would do because that knowledge won't stay locked up forever.
Wade Eiling hates superheroes as much as Amanda Waller does, so why isn't he involved of her campaign or a member of the Bureau of Sovereignty?
After reading Absolute Power #1, Green Arrow informed the heroes that their powers are permanently gone thanks to Task Force VII, if their powers are never coming back in the finale of Absolute Power story, the franchise won't be good anymore, I really hope they will find a way to get their powers back.
Something tells me that all of her plans to destroy all metahumans heroes and villains alike, she is going rogue from the US government or the United States so she can conqueror the earth.
I still think Checkmate isn't a good ally to any hero of the superhero community, it is very corrupt and wants to bring chaos and ruin to the planet.
